Auckland Airport Services

Auckland Airport has several services which should help passengers to accommodate while waiting for their flight. Though many of them can be considered as basic, there are some of them which are exclusively for passengers of a determined airline, among others. 

Within the airport you can find food & drink and leisure services such as restaurants, cafés, shops, duty free shops, etc.

Lost & Left luggage

To claim for your lost luggage please go to the Operations Reception Office located at the international check-in area, heading to door 1 and turn right. 
Office opening hours: From 8 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday. 
For urgent cases, please use the intercom at the reception door and wait until someone comes to help you. In order to retrieve your lost property, you will have to present photo ID, after that a reference number per item will be given to you.

*Please note that lost item found on-board an aircraft will be kept by the airline, so you will need to contact them directly.

Luggage storage

In either departures and arrivals, luggage storage is carried out by Smart Care. To use their services, you should go to Smart Care counters in each of the two terminals.

- Smart Car Arrivals area: Past Air New Zealand Premium check-in, ground floor of International Terminal (arrivals). Tel. +64 9 257 3311

Document services

- Scanning, copying and fax services: You can scan, copy of print documents at Smarte Carte counter. Location: Opposite check-in counter 67 – at ground floor (departures area). Fares: copy ($2.00 per page), fax ($5.00 for first page and then $2.00 per page).

- Download and print your itinerary: If you need to print your flight itinerary to present it, you can print it at the Smarte Carte counter. Location: Opposite Qantas Business check-in counter – At ground floor (departures area). Fares: $2.00 per page. 

- Online VISA applications: If you need to print your VISA or Tourism Registered number to present it while check-in, you can print it at the Smarte Carte counter. Location: Opposite Qantas Business check-in counter – At ground floor (departures area). Fares: $10.00 per application. 

Family facilities

Travelling with children? Then you will need for special facilities to care them. Free to use nursery rooms equipped with cots and change tables. 
You can find family facilities either in International and Domestic terminals. Location: 
- International terminal: ground floor, next to Qantas ticketing counter, first floor: Facing Casino G-Factory, before security (services area facing entrance to lounge), after security (next to entrance to lounge). 
- Domestic terminal: Services area behind Velluto Café, Corridor to gates 22-24, next to Hub Convenience, at the corridor to gates 20, 21, 60 & 61. 

Medical services

For use a first aid room or for urgent medical attention, please dial 98777 on any airport phone in the terminals. To get full medical services, please contact: +64 9 256-8655. Opening hours: 8 am to 6pm (Monday to Friday), 9am – 1pm (Saturday). Closed Sunday and public holidays. 

Prayer rooms

You can pray before taking your flight to the prayer rooms habilitated within the airport. Find attached the locations of the available prayer rooms:
- Chapel: At the first floor, next to Aelia Duty Free, behind the mechanical stairs. 
- Muslim prayer mat: At the first floor of international terminal (western pedestrian bridge). At the ground floor of domestic terminal, next to door 2.
