Auckland Airport International Terminal handles international flights.
Levels
Auckland Airport International Terminal facilities are split into a couple of levels:
Ground level
On the first floor you can find international arrivals and check-in zones A – E, Airline lounges and other services and amenities such as Food & drink, visitor centre, baggage service, flight centre, Domestic transfers, shopping areas.
First level
On this level you can find departures and access to boarding gates 1-3, 5-10 and 15-18, airline lounges, information counters, and plenty of services and amenities such as food & drink, ATMs, prayer rooms, smoking area, first aid station, showers, etc.
Transfer between terminals
Auckland International Terminal is connected to the Domestic Terminal by an open-air signposted walkway.
You can get to the Domestic Terminal within 10 minutes by foot. If you prefer, you can also take the free inter-terminal bus.
Services hours: 05:00am – 10:30pm every 15 minutes.

On-Airport hotel
Novotel Auckland Airport is adjacent to the International Terminal. Please note that there isn’t airport shuttle available since it is located at a short distance from the terminal.
Day rooms are available 06:00am - 03:00pm.
Lounges
Air New Zealand International Lounge: First level. Open from 04:30am to last departure. Services: Premium food, Snacks, Alcoholic drinks, Wi-Fi, Showers, Flight monitors, TV, Children’s area, Internet terminals, Printers, Copiers, Telephones. Please note it is a non-smoking facility.
Air New Zealand Elite Priority One Lounge: Open from 04:30 am to last departure. Services: Premium food, Snacks, Alcoholic drinks, Wi-Fi, TV. Please note it is a non-smoking facility.
The Emirates Lounge: Departures area. Open from 10:45 am to 01:45 pm and 05:15 pm to 08:45 pm. Services: Premium food, Snacks, Alcoholic drinks, Wi-Fi, Showers, Flight monitors, TV, Children’s area, Newspapers, Magazines, Internet terminals. Please note it is a non-smoking facility.
Qantas Airways International First Lounge: After security. Open from 04:15 am to 06:30 pm. Services: Premium food, Snacks, Alcoholic drinks, Wi-Fi, Showers, Flight monitors, Newspapers, Magazines, TV, Internet terminals, Printers, Copiers. Please note it is a non-smoking facility.
Qantas Airways International Business Lounge: Second level. Open from 04:00 am to 08:00 pm. Services: Premium food, Snacks, Alcoholic drinks, Wi-Fi, Showers, Flight monitors, Newspapers, Magazines, TV, Internet terminals, Printers, Copiers. Please note it is a non-smoking facility.
